Insemination Carnival was on view at the employee art show at Sothebys Auction in New York. I subsequently gave a talk about the piece and the events surrounding it at e-flux as a part of the exhibition Solo Show*.

The piece is made up of 24 horse balloons, one for each art handler at Sotheby's, two c-prints of a popped horse balloon and a horse inseminator, and a speaker that played "There Once was a Union Maid" on the pipe organ and without lyrics.
This piece was presented at a time when the Sotheby's management was trying to break the Art handler's membership to the Teamsters Union.
